Home sweet home

Well, we are moved into our place in Eau Claire and it is absolutely wonderful! We have set expenses every month and we know what we will be spending to live. This will be really wonderful for Jon and I to get back on our feet. Jon has done so much for us I cannot continue to express my utmost gratitude to him! I could not ask for a better person in my life or a better father to Grady. He is one lucky baby to have him for a father :).

Grady continues to make huge advancements everyday! Just last night he finally figured out how to roll over. It wasn't a fluke like the first time and Jon was there to witness it! He rolled over about 10 times and it was a truly wonderful thing to see! We also put his jumper together when we got settled in. He doesn't jump around yet but it is a fun thing to see him in a new "device", able to look around a bit more and play with more toys. He is also starting to get some teeth in already! He's always been ahead of the curve so I didn't expect anything different when it came to teething. My mom said that he was "cooking" for too long! I think he is just an overachiever :).

Who couldn't LOVE that face :)

In the meantime...

Well we have a place to live! We will be renting a condo from a girl that graduated a year ahead of Jon from Barron. We are moving in June 1st. I will be going into Clear Channel on the 29th of May for a "formal offer" and I have the night to decide if I want the job or not.

Jon and I have been staying at Jon's parent house for the past week. His parents have been so wonderful and accomodating to us but we are excited to be into our place next week! Grady has also made some big advancements in the past couple of weeks. Tuesday he rolled over onto his back! I think that it was kind of a fluke but it was exciting either way! I was bummed though because Jon missed it. We have been doing a lot of tummy time since then hoping it will happen again. It still surprises me everyday how strong he is getting. I can't believe how big he is and I wish time would just slow down!

Look at that face!

Moving up, moving out

Well we were officially moved out of our place in Fond du Lac by 11:30 am on Saturday morning. As we were closing the garage door to leave Jon asked me, "Last chance." I replied, "See ya!" We were so lucky to have my friends from home, Callie and Tyler, pull a trailer up for us as well as Jon's good friend, Luke, pull a trailer as well. We were able to get everything packed up Friday night and Saturday morning and Grandma and Grandpa Bjelland were there Saturday morning to finish up packing and cleaning. It made the process quicker and much easier. It has been quite a long weekend for the little man as well. Grady and I went back to my mom and dad's to spend the week with them and then it's back to Barron until we can get into our place the first of June. I can't say how excited I am to be closer to family and friends. It's so important for family and friends to be involved in our lives and be close to Grady as he grows! Here are a few pictures to catch you all up on the past couple of weeks!

He's pretty good at the "stink eye"!

I love my blankie!

This has been the longest Jon has been away from the little man and he misses us both very much! This is the video I sent to Jon. Grady misses his daddy!

This mother's day is my very first mother's day and I could not be any more excited! After having Grady it really puts into perspective everything my parents did for me as a child and I am so incredibly grateful to have them as my parents! I would give anything for Grady and I now understand in a whole new light that unconditional love that my parents have for my sister and I!

Happy Mother's Day to all! Enjoy and don't forget to tell those that you love how you feel!

Changes are happening

So the packing has begun. Our apartment is an absolute mess! We still haven't found a place in Eau Claire so we are going to be putting some of our things in storage and hope and pray we find something by June 1st! We are so lucky to have so many people that are willing to come and help us with the move. My friends, Callie and Tyler, are coming all the way from Delano, trailer and all, to help us! Jon's good friend from home, Luke, also offered to pull a trailer down for us as well! Grandma and Grandpa Bjelland are also coming down early Saturday morning to help us as well.

But with all this running and packing keeping us busy, we still find time to enjoy Grady Pants and his little achievements. He has started giggling a little bit more and he is still chatting our ear off! He does really well with tummy time and I would say he is a pretty solid little boy. He still sleeps very well! He had a couple nights last week that he slept from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am. We were quite shocked to say the least, especially given his appetite! He also found his little paws in the past two weeks and loves chewing on those! Here are a couple more pictures for you all to enjoy!

Just relaxing!

By far the best picture!

My little muscle man

I cannot believe how fast Grady is growing! He is going through his clothes so stinkin' fast and he has been in three month old clothes for several weeks now! The past couple of weeks have been so busy so we haven't been able to do as much tummy time as I would like, but that hasn't slowed him down at all! He's already got a strong little neck!

Not only is he strong...he is still chatting away!

Here are a few more pictures that show his little personality so far!

He is pretty good at smiling for the camera!

Dad was making him mad :(

This was his fake cry!

Just some pictures :)

This has always been a favorite chain of events pictures for Jon and I. We were just relaxing on the couch and Jon snapped these pictures of him! He was just a week old and already new how to work the camera!

Relaxed.

"Hey, quit it with the pictures."

"I mean it."

"Alright. Now you just pushed my buttons!"

Easter weekend was a good weekend for us! We got to go back to Eau Claire and stay with Aunt Vickie and Uncle Don. Grady was spoiled by all that weekend! We had dinner at Fuji Steakhouse on Saturday night with Jon's parents, brother and Aunt Vickie and Uncle Don. Grady had a little "blowout" and I forgot to bring his diaper bag into the bathroom so I had to run out with him in just his diaper and got a few laughs!

Sunday morning, my mom, dad and grandma came out to have Easter Brunch with us. We were so blessed to get to spend the holiday weekend with so many people we love! It is one of the main reasons that we are looking forward to being back in Eau Claire!
