Changes are happening

So the packing has begun. Our apartment is an absolute mess! We still haven't found a place in Eau Claire so we are going to be putting some of our things in storage and hope and pray we find something by June 1st! We are so lucky to have so many people that are willing to come and help us with the move. My friends, Callie and Tyler, are coming all the way from Delano, trailer and all, to help us! Jon's good friend from home, Luke, also offered to pull a trailer down for us as well! Grandma and Grandpa Bjelland are also coming down early Saturday morning to help us as well.

But with all this running and packing keeping us busy, we still find time to enjoy Grady Pants and his little achievements. He has started giggling a little bit more and he is still chatting our ear off! He does really well with tummy time and I would say he is a pretty solid little boy. He still sleeps very well! He had a couple nights last week that he slept from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am. We were quite shocked to say the least, especially given his appetite! He also found his little paws in the past two weeks and loves chewing on those! Here are a couple more pictures for you all to enjoy!

Smiley Goose!

"Look at my cheeks!"

Just relaxing!

By far the best picture!

My little muscle man

I cannot believe how fast Grady is growing! He is going through his clothes so stinkin' fast and he has been in three month old clothes for several weeks now! The past couple of weeks have been so busy so we haven't been able to do as much tummy time as I would like, but that hasn't slowed him down at all! He's already got a strong little neck!

Not only is he strong...he is still chatting away!

Here are a few more pictures that show his little personality so far!

He is pretty good at smiling for the camera!

Dad was making him mad :(

This was his fake cry!

Just some pictures :)

This has always been a favorite chain of events pictures for Jon and I. We were just relaxing on the couch and Jon snapped these pictures of him! He was just a week old and already new how to work the camera!

Relaxed.

"Hey, quit it with the pictures."

"I mean it."

"Alright. Now you just pushed my buttons!"

Easter weekend was a good weekend for us! We got to go back to Eau Claire and stay with Aunt Vickie and Uncle Don. Grady was spoiled by all that weekend! We had dinner at Fuji Steakhouse on Saturday night with Jon's parents, brother and Aunt Vickie and Uncle Don. Grady had a little "blowout" and I forgot to bring his diaper bag into the bathroom so I had to run out with him in just his diaper and got a few laughs!

Sunday morning, my mom, dad and grandma came out to have Easter Brunch with us. We were so blessed to get to spend the holiday weekend with so many people we love! It is one of the main reasons that we are looking forward to being back in Eau Claire!

Another big change!

Well it's officially official! Jon, Grady and I are moving back to Eau Claire! Although Jon likes his job and who he works with, it hasn't been exactly the easiest thing for me to be out here. I am almost 6 hours from my mom and dad, almost 5 hours from Jon's parents and 3 1/2 from our good friends. I did get that job at BCI Burke and was hoping for an opportunity for them to hire me on but, they have stated that I am only going to be there until the end of May. Jon and I both were given opportunities for full-time jobs in Eau Claire so we jumped on the chance to be closer to everyone! We both came to the decision that it is best for us as a family to be where we are all happy. It wasn't the easiest thing for Jon to give his two-week notice and they were definitely pushing for him to reconsider, but they are very understanding of the whole situation. They have been a very wonderful company for him to work for!

But back to the main reason you all read this blog...GRADY! He is an absolute fan of bathtime! He kicks and splashes around like crazy! I can't wait until I can take him swimming for the first time! Here's a little video of him splashing around.

He looks just like daddy!

He loves hanging out in his chair while mom gets ready :)

The not-so-little man

Tuckered out little guy.

The first piece of clothing we bought...doesn't see to fit right. Haha.

The infamous "lip" picture!

The result after the "lip". Dad mad him mad.

Most recent picture. He's getting big in a hurry!

Well life has been pretty busy to say the least! Grady had his two month appointment this past friday and he is as healthy as a bug! He definitely impressed the doctor with his weight gain! He rang in at a whopping 13 lbs 6 oz! That puts him in the 90th percentile for weight and he is in the 75th percentile for his length and head.

The past two weeks have really become a fun time for us too. Grady is really starting to respond to facial expressions and is starting to smile more often! It really is such a fun time! I always tell him to show me his big beautiful gums since we have to wait a while for those teeth to come in. He always seems to smile back at that! Jon gives him a weird laugh and Grady responds well to that.

I can say without a doubt that Jon, Grady and I are three of the most blessed people :). We have so many friends and family that come to visit as well as offering their homes for us to stay while we are in town visiting! Grady has also got to meet his great-grandpa and two of three great-grandma's. They all just love him to pieces, as do we.

Grady over the weeks

I am going to try to do my best at updating this as often as possible but thus far it has been quite difficult! Here are some pictures that cover the last nine or so weeks...enjoy!

He so stinkin' small in his big boy crib.

Snug as a bug!
